Give Your Mind Time To Wake Up…

Don’t be so quick to jump out of bed. Give yourself a minute to visualize your day and mentally go over your to do list – for that day. If you’re spiritual say a quick prayer. Listen to the birds singing. Listen to the stillness of the rest of the world. If you’re married – pull your significant other closer. Stare into his or her eyes for a while.

Lamar Odom recently said “half of what you do on the court is mental.” On days when I give my mind time to “boot up” I have a more productive and peaceful day. On days when only my body starts moving (sleepwalking really) I am irritated, lethargic and my day is usually filled with chaos.

Try to sync your mind and your body before waking up and watch a beautiful day unfold…
