Once a week, this page will be updated with stuff that I love! If you remember “The Weekly Well” this will replace that… To view the archives look for “Weekly Well” in the Categories section on the main page.
WATCH
Based on Terry McMillan’s novel, Sanaa Lathan and Wesley Snipes weave a powerful love story that addresses a professional vs. blue collar, unexpected pregnancy and what happens when “ends don’t meet.” Not to mention the super good soundtrack including Al Green’s “Simply Beautiful” which plays during a passionate love scene.
Exhale
Start a gratitude journal. Each day write one thing that you are grateful for. No matter how your day goes, make it a habit of writing your one thing before you go to bed.
Listen
To Adele’s new album. Her deep alto voice and the strong sound of the guitar will force you to sing along. Download the entire album. It’s THAT good! I told my husband she’s the British Teena Marie! My favorite songs are “Rolling in the Deep,” “Take It All” and “Set Fire to the Rain.”

You guys know how I feel about dresses? I call them “Effortlessly Fabulous” because they are so easy and you always look “put together.” (For more professional dressing tips look here: http://thinklikeateacher.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/hello-world/) Most dresses on Shabby Apple are a little under or over $100.00 and the vintage inspired (think Christina Hendricks in Mad Men) cuts plus the accessories and the staging will help you update your work (or play 🙂 wardrobe without much fuss!
