My Home Gym

Yesterday I joined Weight Watchers for the first time ever. I joined Weight Watchers Online. I’ve been building my little “home gym” for a while and it’s coming along nicely.

Here is what I have so far:

 

So far: Treadmill, free weights (3 pounds & 5 pounds), 3 pound weighted hula hoop, speed jump rope and fitness gloves.

Today I added the Weight Watchers Scale (that measures fat AND BMI!), and these wrist weights (4 pounds) to put on my wrists as I walk the treadmill.

Eventually I’d like to add a step (I LOVE step), a balance ball and perhaps a medicine ball. It’s not a HUGE room, but it’s just enough space, with a door that closes strictly dedicated to working out. 2 out of 3 of the walls are windows and on the one wall in the space, I plan to create a monthly incentive chart (where I can add gold stars each time I work out) and inspirational pictures & quotes to help me motivate myself.

This time next year, 1-1-12, I’d like to be thinner, in a smaller dress size, with more stamina and flexibility.
