The Prompt: December 13 – Action. When it comes to aspirations, it’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. What’s your next step? (Author: Scott Belsky)
My first love is writing… has always been. One of my aspirations is to become a freelance writer, to get paid to write and to have my writing circulate on a mass scale. In order to do that my next step was to write. I heard a call for submissions from Rahim The Dream for his site ThisIsTheDream.Com, and I sent in some writing samples and he loved them! I will now be writing a weekly post on his blog and I don’t want to stop there, the next step is to keep writing and keep submitting.
Every single day, I want to do something to move me closer to this goal.
December 14 – Appreciate What’s the one thing you have come to appreciate most in the past year? How do you express gratitude for it? (Author: Victoria Klein)
This year, I appreciate my job. We have seen record budget cuts and record layoffs and by the grace of God, I still have a job to go to. I express gratitude by being fully present and understanding that a lot of teachers did not have classrooms to go to at the beginning of the year – some with more experience than me. While it can be easy to see the negative, I ask that God continue to give me a spirit of gratitude for the job that I have.
congrats on the blogging opportunity! Yay BSF!!!
