Today was the first day of the summer and officially the longest day of the year (summer solstice). Today was also the first day of summer vacation for me (I have a total of 12 weeks!)

I’ve been all reflective lately and the arrival of summer is a reminder that “this too shall past.” We can choose to be active, or we can choose to be passive, but the world is not stagnant and time will continue to move with or without our endorsement.

Even if you decide to stand still, the world will continue to spin on it’s axis, so you’re still in motion.

I type this in the midst of a horrible rain storm, just checked the forecast and it’s supposed to rain for the next two days. We can’t control the weather, but we can control how we deal with it…

What are your goals this summer? What are you doing to progress? What behaviors are causing you to retrogress? What is your movement?
