“The Language of Love” by Che “Rhymefest” Smith
As I look at black Leaders of the past that fought for our people’s equality that struggled against the odds of our collective apathy to unite our race in a way that appeared unbreakable to those oppressors that sought to do with us what the pleased, the “THING” that we had then that’s missing now: REAL LOVE.
Love is a verb, Action!
Love is jihad, Stuggle!
Love is Sacrifice, Time!
Love is Embracing a Cuddle.
Love is Stubborn, Defiance!
Love is willing, Death!
Love has a street face, Revolution!
But Love has much more depth.
The Power of Love conquers all academic calculations. Time should be made for it in our personal lives. I don’t know if what I’m saying makes sense to you but in our communities we have very intelligent politicians the problem is they don’t love the hood, they suck from it. We have very powerful preachers but they don’t love their congregations, they cheat them. We have very astute academics but they don’t love where they come from they study and experiment with it – it is their data. I love very hard, I believe that’s the missing ingredient. I love in every way.

Good stuff. Keep speaking truth, El Che.
Agreed. More often than not we are bound by our circumstance or condition versus being unified by a love for each other that transcends wicked intentions, selfish motivations and foul, old-fashioned oppression.
Short, sweet, truth!
